What Is The Mellow Tribe And Who Is It For?
Mellow Tribe is an international collective of dancers who have chosen to go deeper. Who move from awareness, not habit. Who understand that the most important thing in a partner dance is what happens when both people choose to truly listen, to themselves, to each other, to the music, and to the present moment.
Rooted in Kizomba, evolved far beyond it. Built on fluidity, musicality, sensitivity, and genuine human connection.

For anyone who has ever felt that dance can be something more. Beginners, experienced dancers, people who have never danced but feel drawn to this world. If you arrive with curiosity and openness, there is a place for you here.

Who Are The Mellow Tribe Members?
Mellow Tribe is an international collective of dancers united by a shared vision of connection, presence, and conscious movement.
Rooted in kizomba yet evolving beyond it, Mellow has grown into its own dance style and philosophy - a movement language that values fluidity, musicality, sensitivity, and genuine human interaction.
Further than learning steps, dancers are invited to explore awareness within the dance: listening, balance, co-regulation, and embodied connection. Through this approach, Mellow creates welcoming spaces where people can connect deeply with others, and experience social dance in a more conscious way.
Guided by the leaders of the tribe, Mellow Tribe brings together dancers from around the world who share the desire to move with intention, awareness, and presence.

What We Do?
Where You Can Meet And Dance With The Mellow Tribe Members
The Mellow Tribe Members take part in festivals where you can meet them on the dancefloor, dance with them, and experience something unique. It is an opportunity to feel the power of hugs, discover what deep connection means, and experience what it is to be truly present in the dance.
Only official Mellow Tribe Members take part in festivals. They have completed The Mellow Tribe Education and carry the knowledge, awareness, and skills that are part of this path.

The Path To Becoming An Official Mellow Tribe Member
There is no rush here. The path is part of the experience, and every step of it matters.
To become an officially recognized Mellow Tribe Member, you will be requested to complete the following steps:
- Complete The Mellow Tribe Portal online course.
- Attend at least one Live Session, or watch a recorded session. Live Sessions are held once per week.
- Take part in a one-on-one guided conversation (online or in person) with Albir, Natalia, Taryn or Sergei to explore and confirm your understanding of the core principles.
- Complete an in-person practical assessment through dance at an event with Albir, Natalia, Taryn or Sergei, demonstrating your application of the core practices.
- Maintain an active, paid membership in The Mellow Tribe.
Once you have successfully completed all of the above, you will be recognized as an official Mellow Tribe Member. Your profile will be featured on the Official Mellow Tribe webpage, and you will gain access to the full range of benefits, including complimentary passes to festivals collaborating with The Mellow Tribe Project.

This is a space where you can finally slow down, arrive, and belong.
Everything inside Mellow Tribe is designed to support your journey. The live sessions, the training videos, the private community, the guidance, and the path toward official recognition if you choose to walk it.
Annual plan:
100€ per year.
Monthly plan:
First month 30€, then 8€ per month for 11 months.
The monthly plan offers flexibility. The annual plan saves 18€.
Before you commit, take the first step for free. Apply, receive two introductory videos, and join Mellow People. When you feel ready, the door to Mellow Tribe will be open.
Both paths are real. Both are respected. The only difference is how deep you want to go.

There is no single right way to walk this path. Some people come for the weekly lives and stay for the community. Others come for the training and end up finding something they didn't know they were looking for.
Whatever brings you here, you are welcome. The depth you go is always your choice.

Is joining Mellow Tribe free?
The first step is always free. Apply, receive two introductory videos, and join Mellow People, our open community. Access to the Mellow Tribe Portal, the weekly live sessions, and the private community requires a membership.
How much does membership cost?
100€ per year, paid in one payment. Or 30€ for the first month, followed by 8€ per month for the remaining 11 months.
What is the difference between Mellow People and Mellow Tribe?
Mellow People is our open community. For students of the Mellow Program, dancers, and anyone who shares the vision. Mellow Tribe goes deeper. It is a paid membership that includes the Portal, weekly live sessions, the private WhatsApp group, and the path toward official recognition.
Do I need experience to join?
No. You need curiosity, openness, and a genuine desire to move with awareness. The rest grows from there.
What are the weekly live sessions?
Every Tuesday at 8:30pm Madrid time, Albir and Natalia go live. Part learning, part movement, part open conversation. A space that feels less like a class and more like coming home.
What is the Mellow Tribe Portal?
A curated selection of training videos chosen specifically for the Tribe journey. Body awareness, connection, musicality, energy. At your own pace.
How do I become an Official Mellow Tribe Member?
Complete the online training, have a conversation with one of our Mellow Tribe Guides, and complete an in-person practical assessment. You choose when you feel ready.
Will I get personal guidance?
You will be supported through the live sessions, the private WhatsApp group, and conversations with the Mellow Tribe Guides whenever you need it.
Can I represent Mellow Tribe at festivals?
Once you become an Official Mellow Tribe Member, you will have the opportunity to attend selected festivals as a representative of the Tribe, with complimentary passes available in limited quantity.
